What you do when you wake feeling completely overwhelmed? When the to-do list seems never ending and every item on the list feels like a priority?
What do you do when you wake already feeling exhausted, because you stayed up into the wee hours of the morning trying to catch up? And it feels like the alarm goes off just a few hours from when you last closed your eyes?
What do you do when the demands are so great and you are not sure it is even possible to physically meet them all? And when you hear your ego screaming “you can always find and work one more hour?
Ahhhhh… I now know what to do!
Close your eyes and take a deep, slow breath in then out. And then another … and another one after that.
Then as you put your feet on the floor remember that yesterday you did the very best you could and that today you will do your very best you can again. Remember to look at each item, you desire to accomplish, on your very long list of things to do. And as you do the beautiful reasons (your why’s in life) will come flooding back into your awareness and with it your will, desires and motivation will spark within again.
Then remember that you have a choice on how you interpret each and every experience you have. You design the story you experience. And in that moment you will remember “she designed the life she loved”!
